What to Expect

The Spring Fair is a treasure trove for those seeking unique pieces to brighten their homes. With over 130 specialist dealers, you'll find everything from elegant Georgian furniture to mid-century modern marvels. This year, there's a delightful emphasis on garden antiques—think vintage urns, statuary, and charming outdoor furniture.

One of the highlights I'm particularly excited about is the House Directory Live on the mezzanine level. It's a new addition this spring, featuring decorating suppliers, makers, and craftspeople, along with daily talks and workshops. It's the perfect opportunity to gather inspiration and perhaps even meet some of the artisans behind the pieces we adore.

The Exhibitors

This exhibition really does include some of the best of the best and here are some of the talented exhibitors you'll find at the fair:

  • Henry Miller Fine Art: On Stand A26, Henry will be showcasing a selection of paintings, works on paper, photography, and sculpture, including pieces by artists such as Radek J Husak and Hywel Pratley.

  • Cal Smith Gallery: Known for their curated collections of furniture, art, and textiles, Cal Smith Gallery will be presenting works by artists like Peter László Péri and Ron Hitchins.

  • Spitalfields House: Offering country house grandeur on a townhouse scale, Spitalfields House presents an erudite collection of 18th and 19th-century English and continental furniture and works of art.

  • The Swedish Rug Company: Specialising in Scandinavian folk art rugs, flatweave runners, and larger rugs dating from the 1900s to the 1970s, The Swedish Rug Company brings a touch of Nordic charm to the fair.

  • Schmid McDonagh: Dealers in 20th and 21st-century objects, furniture, jewellery, art, design, and books, Schmid McDonagh offers a diverse range of items for collectors and design enthusiasts.

These are just a few of the many talented exhibitors you'll encounter at the fair. Each brings their unique flair and expertise, ensuring there's something for every collector and design enthusiast. Click HERE for the full list

A Dog-Friendly Day Out

And yes, you read that right—the fair is dog-friendly! So you can bring along your well-behaved pooch companions. It's a lovely way to spend a spring day, and who knows, your dog might just find their new favourite antique too.

Hopefully see some of you there and let me know your thoughts on it if you do go!
