During the Victorian era there was a fashion to add humour and novelty to everyday items which was something this maker became well known for. EH Stockwell operated a workshop in Greek Street between 1865 and 1894. During this time, he supplied many of the most prestigious silver retailers in London including some of the biggest retailers on Bond Street.
